The Oakwood Club is Minnesota's oldest nudist resort, having been in existence for over 57 years. Our members, like most clubs in the United States, are a cross section of Americana; diverse ages, vocations and interests. We are located 30 minutes north of the Twin Cities area.

Who are we? We are just average people from all walks of life with a shared belief: We believe the human body is not an object of shame, that clothing should be worn when the occasion indicates it is necessary and that they need not be worn when unnecessary. We are a family oriented club, so if you are looking for swinging or sexual activities please go elsewhere. Please take a moment to view our site. We are a full member club requiring all of our members to pay the national and regional dues as set forth by the AANR as well as the SNO-BIRD fees. The SNO-BIRDS is a non-landed travel club which means that we do not own club grounds with recreational facilities.

Avatan, founded in 1961, is located on 40 acres of rolling woodland about thirty minutes north of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Our attractive and secluded grounds offer a safe environment for your entire family to enjoy the nudist lifestyle. Our greatest assets at Avatan are the people; members, guests and visitors. Families are the core of our membership with a limited number of singles*.
