Bay Bares are a bunch of folks who get together regularly for the pleasure of each other's company, the kind of fun that can only happen when like-minded people are around one another. We cherish our time in the sun and the beautiful park we have built together to spend it in. We are families, couples, and single people who have re-learned what a joy it is to relax and play without the restrictions imposed by a clothes-compulsive society.

Beach Education Advocates for Culture, Health, Environment & Safety Foundation Institute, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) federally tax-exempt nonprofit educational corporation. B.E.A.C.H.E.S.'s four goals for our public beaches are explicit in its name: cultural diversity, public health, environmental conservation, and beach safety. While within the context of cultural diversity, B.E.A.C.H.E.S. is a strong advocate for designated public naturist beaches, it is equally an advocate for an equitable shared usage of beach resources by all user groups, insofar as a particular usage is not in conflict with the four goals of the foundation. To achieve these ends, B.E.A.C.H.E.S. aims at establishing amicable and mutually beneficial working partnerships with government, business, and the public.

The Florida Association for Nude Recreation, Inc. (FANR), is a statewide organization of clubs that promote the concept of social nudism. This includes the belief in the essential wholesomeness of the human body, and the naturalness of social nudism. FANR endeavors to establish, maintain, and foster the establishment of public and private resorts, camps, parks, beaches, and other areas for the enjoyment of nude recreation.

A Naturist is one who enjoys being nude, preferably in an outdoors setting, for social and recreational activities. We enjoy the freedom of being without clothes whenever possible and practical. Gay men everywhere are discovering the enjoyment of gathering together with other men for nude camaraderie and the freedom to be found in non-judgmental body acceptance. Almost every large city in the U.S. and Canada has an organized gay male naturist club. Gay naturists experience a camaraderie unequalled in any clothed situation. Being nude makes everyone more open and honest about himself, and more accepting of others. If clothes make the man, then nudity makes everyone more equal.

Southern Exposure of Naples, Inc. has available for its use, a fresh water lake where one can swim, boat, and fish. The paddle boats allow for a scenic trip around the 40 acre lake. On the grounds we use, there is a swing set for children, a large sunbathing area and fruit trees to partake of when in full bloom.

The Artful Weekend is just one of the activities which attracts guests to Sunnier Palms. Since 1997, local artists have converged to show their work and to enjoy painting, generally around the third week of March. Educational activities have included a lecture on the history of the nude in art, exemplified by Michelangelo's "David." Types of activities enjoyed by all include heated pool and hot tub, volleyball and other game courts, yard games and nature walks. Nudity is expected throughout Sunnier Palms property.
