Le Mérou, a family run holiday retreat, is situated in the Tarn-et-Garonne region on the causse de Limogne, near the medieval village Caylus. A charming mellow stoned farmhouse, intimate guestrooms, a secluded camp side and swimming pool on the extensive grounds of le Merou form the perfect setting for an inspirational holiday.

Our terrain of 43 acres lies surrounded by hills, in a valley of meadows and woods, with the clear water of the river “Loyre” winding through the area. This river finds its way through the green landscape and creates idyllic places all over the terrain. The landscape as well as the flora and fauna show a great deal of variety. You feel surrounded by tranquillity and spaciousness. Walking along the rippling water, through the fields with ferns and fringes of woods, you enjoy the orchestra of crickets, frogs and swallows…..

We organise nice and easy strolls in the surroundings, but also much longer walks, and excursions by car (Lac de Sainte Croix; Mer Méditerranée; Cassis, a naturist beach; Les Gorges du Verdon; Les Gorges d'Oppedette; the lavender fields).

Les ROUTELLES, it is nearly 600 hectares of wild nature which allow long naturist walks, with complete freedom, among the lavender and the coniferous trees. At the end of the center, after a one hour walk, you will be able to have a pick nick between friends not far from a sheep-fold, near a source. An additional hour away you will be at the top of the "Palle" mountain (altitude 1484 m). Another two good hours through the canyon and "Vente Culle" or for the bravest, through the valley of Sérrières you will be back at Les Routelles.
